Services and bookings

Choosing the right service.

What cleaning services do you offer?
Hillside offers regular weekly or fortnightly home cleaning, one-off and deep cleans, and practical household assistance such as laundry, linen changes and light organisation where agreed.
Do you offer weekly and fortnightly cleaning?
Yes. Regular cleaning may be available weekly or fortnightly depending on your suburb, preferred day, required duration and current scheduling.
Do you offer one-off or deep cleans?
Yes. These are quoted individually because the time required depends on the size and condition of the home and the detailed tasks you would like prioritised.
Do you offer end-of-lease cleaning?
End-of-lease cleans may be considered by quote depending on the property, its condition, location and Hillside's availability. The scope must be agreed in advance, and Hillside does not offer a bond-back guarantee.
Do you provide NDIS-funded cleaning?
Yes. Hillside provides cleaning services for plan-managed NDIS participants only. We do not currently accept self-managed or NDIA-managed participants.
What is usually included in a regular clean?
A regular clean generally focuses on bathrooms, toilets, kitchen surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and agreed general tidying within the booked time. Your priorities are confirmed so the most important tasks are completed first.
Can I request extras such as the oven, fridge, walls or inside windows?
Yes, selected extras may be added by arrangement. Detailed tasks usually require additional time and should be mentioned when requesting your quote so the booking can be scoped realistically.
Do you provide carpet steam cleaning or exterior window cleaning?
Specialist carpet steam cleaning and exterior or high-access window cleaning are not included in a standard Hillside clean. Mention these needs in your enquiry so Hillside can confirm whether they can be accommodated or whether a specialist is more suitable.

What to expect on cleaning day.

Do you provide cleaning products and equipment?
Standard products and equipment can generally be supplied. Please tell us about product sensitivities, special surfaces or household preferences before the first service. Client-supplied products may be used where they are suitable and safe.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No. Many clients provide an agreed access arrangement. You are also welcome to be home. Access, alarms, keys and locking-up instructions must be clearly confirmed before the service.
Will I have the same cleaner each time?
Hillside aims to provide consistency wherever possible. Occasionally another suitable team member may attend because of leave, illness or scheduling changes, and any change will be communicated as clearly as possible.
Are pets okay to have at home?
Yes, pets are welcome, but Hillside must be told about them before the visit. Pets that may be anxious, protective, likely to escape or unsafe around equipment should be secured in a suitable area.
Can I choose the priorities for each visit?
Yes. Priorities can be adjusted within the booked time, provided the work is safe and within the agreed service scope. Let Hillside know if something is especially important before the cleaner begins.
How much can be completed in the booked time?
This depends on the size and condition of the home, how much tidying is required and the level of detail requested. Hillside will work through the agreed priorities and may recommend more time if the full list is not realistic within the booking.
Do cleaners move furniture or heavy items?
Light, accessible items may be moved where safe. Cleaners do not move heavy furniture, appliances or items that could create an injury, damage or access risk.
Can you clean mould, bodily fluids or heavily contaminated areas?
Minor surface cleaning may be possible, but extensive mould, human or animal waste, sharps, pest contamination, hoarding conditions, trauma scenes and hazardous substances require prior disclosure and may need a specialist service. Hillside may decline unsafe work.

Pricing and policies

Quotes, changes and cancellations.

How much does cleaning cost?
Regular cleaning starts from $130 per visit. One-off and deep cleans start from $250. Final pricing depends on the property size and condition, requested tasks, estimated time, location and travel. Household assistance and custom services are quoted individually because every situation is different.
Is Hillside insured and police checked?
Yes. Hillside is fully insured and police checked, providing additional peace of mind when welcoming us into your home.
Can the price change after the first clean?
The first visit can reveal that a home needs more or less time than expected. If the original booking is not a good fit, Hillside will discuss any recommended change to the duration, scope or ongoing price before future services.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please provide as much notice as possible. Late cancellations or situations where the cleaner cannot access or safely complete the service may attract a fee under the booking terms supplied before service begins.
How do I request a quote?
Use the online quote form and include your suburb, home size, preferred frequency, availability, pets and main cleaning priorities. You can also call or email Hillside directly using the details on this page.
